The short version: I collect what I need to talk to you and, if we work together, to buy you a property. I don't sell it, I don't market to you with it, and you can ask me to delete it.

What we collect
- When you book a call: your first name, email address and phone number, typed into the form on this site.
- On the call: what you choose to tell me about your money, your goals and your timescales, so I can write your plan.
- If you become a client: proof of identity and address, and where your money comes from. The anti-money laundering rules require this before any property is bought for you.
This site doesn't set cookies and doesn't run advertising or analytics trackers.
Why we use it
- To contact you about the call you asked for, and to follow up on it. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry.
- To deliver the service if you become a client. The legal basis is the contract between us.
- To carry out identity and source of funds checks. The legal basis is our legal obligation under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017.
We don't add you to a newsletter, and we never sell or rent your details to anyone.
Who else sees it
- HubSpot, which stores our contacts and runs the booking diary. Your details are held in its EU data centre.
- Microsoft, which hosts our email.
- If you become a client, the solicitors, mortgage brokers, trades and letting agents working on your purchase get what they need for their part of it, and nothing more.
- Regulators or law enforcement, but only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- If we speak but don't work together, we delete your details within two years of our last contact, or sooner if you ask.
- If you become a client, identity and transaction records are kept for five years after our work together ends, because the Money Laundering Regulations require it. Everything else goes when it's no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or have a copy sent to you or someone else. Email Ryan@midaspropertyassets.co.uk and you'll get an answer within one month. It's free.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, tell me first and I'll put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
